With 30 years experience as a sailor, and more than 12 years as a professional Seaman on private and charter yachts, my approach is to ensure safety of passengers, crew and vessel, as well as making sure that everyone enjoys their stay onboard. Through ongoing training and attention to details, I make sure your adventures is safe, comfortable and memorable.

As Captain on motor and sail yachts from 17 to 31 meters, often with limited resources, I developed a very hands-on approach and very good mechanical, electrical and maintenance skills.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and International management, I am very organized and have strong management skills. I believe safety, respect, a good sense of humor and a happy crew are the essential elements.



I hold the following yachting qualifications:

-MCA Chief Mate 3000t, Master 200t
-Ship Security Officer (ISPS SSO)
-STCW95 and ENG1 medical
-RYA/DoT Yachtmaster Ocean, commercially endorsed
-RYA/DoT Powerboat Level 2, commercially endorsed
-MCA Approved Engine Course
-UKSA Professional Crew and Skipper Training

In addition, I also hold the following:

-PADI Advanced diver, Nitrox
-Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the University of Montreal

My strengths include:

-Fluent in English and French
-Over 100 000 Nm sailing experience worldwide, 7000 hrs of nighttime watch experience and over 2500 days onboard yachts from 10m to 31m in the past 20 years.
-Extensive knowledge of the South Pacific, South East Asia, Indian Ocean and Caribbean.
-Excellent managerial and social skills.
-Very good engineering, mechanical and electrical skills.
